Group Travel
What kind of trips does Vybe plan?
Vybe specializes in group travel, including friends and family trips, milestone celebrations, destination weddings, Hosted Vybe Trips, and Destination Unknown.
How many rooms do I need for a group trip?
Vybe typically works with groups needing 5 rooms or more. Groups with 10 rooms or more may qualify for a traditional contracted group setup, while smaller groups may use a more flexible booking structure depending on the destination and supplier.
Do I need to know exactly where I want to go before reaching out?
No. You can come with a destination in mind or just tell us your dates, budget, room count, and the kind of experience you want.
Is there a fee to receive a group travel proposal?
Your initial planning is complimentary. Vybe will prepare a personalized proposal with approximately 3–4 recommended options based on your group’s dates, budget, priorities, and overall Vybe.
One round of revisions is included so we can fine-tune the direction if needed. After that, a group deposit is required before additional research, revisions, or planning continues.
This allows us to keep complimentary planning focused on groups that are ready to move forward while still giving you enough information to confidently choose the right trip.
Is there a fee to use Vybe Travel?
In most cases, no. Vybe is paid directly by the resort, cruise line, or travel supplier when your trip is booked.
That means you can use Vybe’s planning and booking support without paying a separate travel-agent fee in most situations.
Special circumstances may require a planning or service fee, but if that applies, it will always be explained before any work begins.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
Vybe reviews the trip details first. If the trip is a fit, we move into destination and resort research, build the best options, and then create the booking structure once you choose your trip.
Does the group leader have to collect everyone’s money?
No. Travelers typically book and make payments on their own reservations.
Can everyone book separately?
Yes. Travelers can usually reserve their own rooms as long as they meet the group’s booking and payment deadlines.
Can travelers choose different room types?
Usually, yes, depending on the room categories available within the group.
Can travelers stay for different dates?
Sometimes. Different arrival or departure dates can affect availability and pricing, so they may need to be reviewed individually.
Can flights be included?
Sometimes. Airfare may be included, optional, or booked separately depending on the trip structure.
Does Vybe arrange airport transportation?
Yes, when transportation is available for the destination and trip setup.
Can Vybe help with excursions or private experiences?
Yes. Vybe can help coordinate things like excursions, boat days, dinners, welcome events, and other group experiences.
How far in advance should we start planning?
For most groups, 9–18 months is a good range. Destination weddings, larger groups, and high-demand travel dates should usually start earlier.
The practical stuff
Booking & Payments
Will my group have its own booking page?
Yes. Vybe creates a customized booking page with the trip details, room options, pricing, deadlines, and reservation instructions.
Can each traveler book for themselves?
Yes. Travelers can submit their own information and manage their own reservation through the group booking process.
Are payment plans available?
Most group trips use a deposit and payment schedule. Exact terms depend on the supplier and trip.
Are Vybe Travel trips refundable?
No. All Vybe Travel trips are nonrefundable unless you purchase travel protection that provides coverage for your specific reason for cancellation.
Hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, and other suppliers have their own cancellation terms, but travelers should book with the expectation that payments are nonrefundable.
Vybe strongly recommends purchasing travel protection and reviewing the policy carefully so you understand exactly what is and is not covered.
What happens if I miss a payment deadline?
Your reservation may be at risk. Contact Vybe as soon as possible if you know you may miss a payment.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, but payments should be treated as nonrefundable unless your travel protection covers your reason for cancellation.
Can I transfer my reservation to someone else?
Sometimes. Name changes and transfers depend on the supplier and may involve fees.
Do you recommend travel protection?
Yes. Strongly. Because Vybe trips are nonrefundable, travel protection is the best way to protect your investment if an unexpected covered situation prevents you from traveling.
Coverage varies by policy, so travelers should review the terms, exclusions, and covered reasons before purchasing.
A whole trip worth getting married on
Destination Weddings
What does Vybe handle for destination weddings?
Vybe handles the group travel side, including resort selection, room blocks, guest bookings, pricing, payment schedules, communication, transportation, and the travel experience around the wedding.
Does Vybe plan the ceremony and reception?
No. The resort or wedding team typically handles the wedding itself. Vybe focuses on the guest travel and group logistics surrounding it.
Do wedding guests get their own booking page?
Yes. Guests receive one clear place to review the resort, room options, pricing, deadlines, and booking details.
Does the couple have to collect guest payments?
No. Guests handle their own reservations and payments.
Can Vybe help with welcome events and excursions?
Yes. Vybe can help build group experiences around the wedding trip.
How early should we start planning a destination wedding?
Many couples begin 12–24 months in advance, especially for larger groups or popular wedding dates.
Anticipation is part of the experience
Destination Unknown
What is Destination Unknown?
Destination Unknown is Vybe Travel’s mystery group vacation experience. Travelers book before knowing the exact destination.
Do I really pay before I know where I’m going?
Yes, but you still know the practical details you need to make a decision, like dates, pricing, payment structure, trip style, and requirements.
Why is the destination kept secret?
Because the anticipation is part of the experience. The guessing, clues, reveal, and shared discovery are part of Destination Unknown.
How do I join?
Start with the qualification quiz. If the trip is a fit, you’ll receive access to the current booking path.
What is the Destination Unknown Box?
It is part of the reveal experience and turns the destination announcement into an actual moment instead of just an email.
Can I join Destination Unknown alone?
Yes. Travelers may join solo or with friends, depending on the trip.
Just join the Vybe
Hosted Vybe Trips
What is a Hosted Vybe Trip?

Can I come alone?
Yes. You can join solo, with a friend, or with your own small crew.
Do I need to know anyone else on the trip?
No. Hosted trips are designed so travelers can join an experience already in motion.
Do I have to participate in every group activity?
No. Hosted trips include shared experiences, but they are still vacations.
Are Hosted Vybe Trips adults only?

Where we book—and where we don’t
Hotels & Private Rentals
Does Vybe book Airbnb or private vacation rentals?
No. Vybe does not book Airbnb or private vacation rentals.
For group travel, Vybe prioritizes hotels, resorts, and established travel partners where there are clear service standards and a reliable escalation process if something goes wrong. Private rentals can create more risk if a host cancels at the last minute, the property is not as advertised, or there is a serious issue during the stay.
